I think in the moive outsiders it seems like it is a run down town. I some what understand and feel sorry about how they feel about them self. the dont think they want to be there . they allways get picked on and dont like it .
Austin- I agree. I don't think the Greasers really want to be greasers. Some people who read the book want to be like the greasers because they can pretty much do whatever they want and get into fights all of the time. I like that Ponyboy and Johhny are the main characters because they would give anything to just be "normal" people. -Miss L
