The fact of the matter is the greaser have to live in a hard place that is full of crime and alot of bad people. The socs have money and their parents love them they all are just complaining beacause every noe and then they do not get what they want. They do not like the greasers beacause they are in the way and they just do not like them. In some way I see how the socs may be sad such as cherry. She is caught in the middle of the greasers and the socs. Hopefully they make peace.
Mystery student- You've made some good points here. It sure does seem like Cherry is stuck somewhere in the middle. In a way, so is Ponyboy. It will be interesting to see if they are able to make peace by the end of the book. -Miss L
