I agree with Ponyboy when he says things are only rough all over on the East side. I agree with Ponyboy when he says this because the Greasers have to watch out for the Socs, alot of them either have bad or no parents, also the Greasers are looked at as dirty and troublemaker kids by other people. Cerry say that the Socs have it rough to but the Greasers have it way rougher than the Socs. I think this because all the Socs have to worry about is plesing their parents, getting what they dont have, and getting a good education. This is why I think the Greasers have a rough life or at least rougher than the Socs.
Jeff- You made some really good points here. I agree, that although Cherry hasn't said it yet, Socs probably do have to worry about pleasing their parents, while the greasers tend to have parents who don't really care. -Miss L
