I think ponyboy is right because the greasers do have it tough they have to protect themselfs and ponyboy's brothers have to watch him. The socs get anything they want they have better clothes and go to school and get better jobs. The greaser have to work hard to get their money and the socs pick fights with them. The socs get drunk and hurt people and the greasers have to deal with it. Plus the greasers parents hit treat them like their nothing, when the socs parents love them and get them anything they want.
Tyler- From Ponyboy's point of view, he does make some pretty strong arguments about the rough life of the greasers. The socs might have parens they guy them everyting, but does that mean that they are loved? -Miss L
