I agree with Cherry when she said that things are rough all over. I agree with her because no matter where you live or how much money you have, all people have problems. They may have way different kinds of problems, but still they all live life and have rough patches. I think that Ponyboy will realize this in the end.
Gabriela- I couldn't have said it better myself. Even if Ponyboy does understand this by the end of the book, do you think he'll be able to convince the rest of the group as well? Will his new understanding make a difference? -Miss L
